Uni Snow Games-Day One & Two

Competition on Day One got off to a slow start with bad weather causing the postponement of the first event (Ski Giant Slalom). However the weather in the afternoon cleared up enough to allow for the running of the Boarder GS.

Day Two did not see much improvement with the weather, allowing for only the Ski GS to be held in the morning and the afternoon's event being postponed (Skier X).

Tomorrow (Wednesday) is going to be a busy day as we try to get through the rescheduled events, Ski Slalom, Skier X and Boarder X.

Here is hoping for better weather for the remainder of the week!

Snow King & Queen

Monday night at Shooters was the first event of the social programme. 

Two individuals from Otago, Canterbury, Massey Albany, Victoria, Massey Wellington, AUT & Waikato entered to compete for the title of Snow King and Queen.  Each nominated individual had to complete tasks from a dance off to a scavenger hunt to win this title for their University.

Torrey & Guy from Canterbury University were named the 2008 Uni Snow King & Queen.  Check out the following link to find out other placings
