2009 Uni Games - Taranaki

The organising of the 2009 Uni Games in Taranaki is progressing well. USNZ is partnering with a consortium lead by Sport Taranaki. Partners include Venture Taranaki, New Plymouth District Council, South Taranaki District Council, Stratford District Council and Western Institute of Technology Taranaki. We acknowledge and appreciate their support and enthusiasm for this event.

25 sports will be offered through clustered venues spread throughout the Taranaki region. All campuses will be on holiday during this time and we are expecting large numbers of students to attend and to ideally match or pass the 17 campuses that attended the 2008 Uni Games in Rotorua.
